The 420 C Series provides the ultimate in versatility for vacuum forming and skin packaging. By combining two complete vacuum systems, a high volume turbine and positive displacement (surge tank), the 420 C Series can do the work of two machines. The 420 C can do plastic vacuum forming because of the strong vacuum created by the high volume turbine.

Vacuum forming is a versatile method of molding plastic (film) into a specific shape. Vacuum forming can be used to produce a wide variety of plastic objects such as blisters or trays. The process requires a heat source to soften the plastic sheets and a source of vacuum to "draw" the plastic into the required form.

The tray fixture base is made from a solid composite material that maintains better tolerances and resistance to crushing and warping than the more traditional plywood type materials.

Incorporated into the fixture base are HANNANPAK® registration pins (a smooth acting, accurate long life spring pin) and HANNANPAK® seal flange material.

There is more to making a skin or blister card than just printing on a piece of board stock. All materials must be specifically selected for their compatibility with one another, which includes specially formulated inks, solvents, papers, and coatings, all of which must be systematically applied. Hannan® Products Corporation, through years of research and development, with complete in-house processing, has developed a unique series of patented manufacturing processes which allows HANNNAN® to produce the most consistantly high quality cards possible. HANNANPAK™ materials help eliminate production problems and reduce your packaging costs. HANNAN® manufactures materials for standard applications to super strength materials for heavy-duty use. These materials are available as while blanks, solid color blanks, or may be printed in simple one color line work to sophisticated four-color process.

HANNAN® manufactures a wide variety of Skin Card Materials. From standard duty HANNANPAK™ non-perf materials for small or light weight product to heavy-duty HANNANPAK™ chip-cor for large or heavy product. HANNANPAK™ Skin Cards can be printed to your specifications or may be provided as white blanks or solid color blanks.

HANNANPAK™ Logo Cards

A HANNANPAK™ Logo Card is a great way to get into Skin Packaging. With your company Logo repeated over and over in a scatter print format. A single skin card design can be used to package a complete product line.

HANNANPAK™ Master Sheets (Unit Cards)

In the skin packaging process, it is common to package several products at once. The skin card can be a solid color, blank white, a logo card (company logo repeated over & over) or a master sheet/unit card.

The master sheet/unit card has an art format and image size designed for a specific product. The art work may describe the products, uses and benefits. Part number and descriptions as well as directions and U.P.C. symbols can also be applied.

The product related artwork can be repeated on the master sheet.

For example: On a 18" x 24" master sheet, a unit size of 11 3/4" x 17 1/2" may be repeated 2 times. A unit size of 4 3/8" x 5 7/8" would be repeated 16 times. This would allow you to package 16 separate units in one sealing cycle. .
